Residential docks by Kropf Marine feature the same robust construction design used for our heavy duty commercial dock systems. Marine environments are very dynamic, and floating dock systems are subjected to constant movement. The structural integrity of a well-engineered steel dock structure is not compromised over time by these forces, unlike a wood-framed, or aluminum-framed dock system. Steel tube docks by Kropf Marine are built to last, with durable 24" spiral welded steel float tubes, and a rugged welded steel substructure. This sturdy sub-frame supports the wood stringers and fascia boards; premium 2" x 6" deck boards are screw mounted to the stringers. All steel surfaces are sandblasted and spray coated with our advanced Devoe "Bar Rust" application process for longevity. 10" cast aluminum cleats are mounted with through-bolts to the stringers for securing vessels to the docks. In addition, our optional premium stainless steel bollards are also available. Floating docks by Kropf provide superior stability, strength, performance, and longevity. In fact, these docks are so stable that many visitors do not realize they are on a floating dock at all.
